:: Clay - Piano ::

I was born and raised in Farwell , TX , out on the high plains.  I began playing piano very early on and eventually found myself at South Plains College in Levelland.  After college I played with several bands through the mid nineties and in 1997 I moved to Nashville .  I have toured and performed with numerous national acts and played on several major label releases and in Nashville I also fell in love with studio production.  I have owned an independent multimedia production company, RyderMedia, since 2001 and enjoy finding and producing new talent.  I moved to Kyle , TX in 2004 and love being back in Texas .  I'm thrilled that I've found a home in the Pat Green band.

Performed with:

Waylon Jennings
ZZ Top
Huey Lewis
Phil Vassar
Jaime O'Neill
Brady Seals
Lee Greenwood
Andy Griggs

Major recordings:

Phil Vassar - American Child
Phil Vassar - Shaken, Not Stirred
Various Artists - Sharp Dressed Men, An RCA Tribute To ZZ Top
Produced three tracks on the upcoming release of Sony, BMG's newest pop artist, Ross Copperman

Influences:

Benmont Tench, Tom Petty, Matt Rollings, Lyle Lovett, Floyd Cramer, Jerry Lee Lewis, Oscar Peterson, Pig Robbins, John Hobbs, Barry Beckett and any of the thousands of others who make me realize I'm not nearly as cool as them.
